“It’s a Sensory World!” caters to the recreational and social needs of children with special needs. Our facility is intended to fill the gap between therapy and main stream recreation, where children regardless of their developmental level can participate in fun-filled activities. Our MISSION is to provide a high-quality, affordable, venue for children who present sensory dysfunction and thus better assist them in meeting their sensory needs. To provide an appropriate, parent guided sensory-motor and social-skills program for children of all abilities.

The Miracle League of Frisco is a sports league for special-needs children, ages 5-18, from throughout North Texas. We offer spring/fall baseball and soccer, winter/summer bowling and other sporting opportunities to children with all levels of disabilities. We are a “nopractice” league – we just focus on having fun at game time!  Registration fees (per six-week season) run about $35 and include uniform and a trophy. However, scholarships are available to all who need them – simply ask! The Miracle League of Frisco: “Because every child deserves the chance to play.”

The program provides physical activity services to reinforce what your child is learning in PE or at home.  Children are partnered up with 2+ undergraduate students who are enrolled in Movement for Special Populations. The students will then write lesson plans and teach your children skills/games etc across the course of the semester.

Taught by NARHA-certified instructors, Trail Blazers is a developmental riding therapy program. The Trail Blazers program utilizes horseback riding for clients with physical, mental, cognitive, social or behavioral problems, and often serves as a continuation of the treatment an individual received previously in hippotherapy.  Beyond just improvement in the individual’s confidence and discipline while improving gross and fine motor skills, posture, balance, and coordination, Trail Blazers participants develop more refined horsemanship skills and many go on to compete in are and state Special Olympics, Top Hands in Houston or Chisholm Challenge in Fort Worth.
